Yes, we work with NDIS participants. We are currently able to support clients who are Self-Managed or Plan-Managed. If you have questions about utilizing your specific funding, our team is happy to help guide you through the process.
No, you do not need a referral from a GP or pediatrician to access our services. You can contact us directly to schedule an initial assessment. However, if you are planning to claim rebates through Medicare, a specific referral plan from your doctor may be required.
There is no need to stress about having a perfectly tidy house! We simply need a comfortable, relatively clear space where we can sit and engage safely. We will bring any specialized equipment or resources required for the session.
We believe therapy is most effective where life actually happens. Most of our sessions are community-based, meaning we can meet you at home, school, or within your local community across the Gold Coast. This allows us to work on functional goals in the environment where they matter most.
Choosing a therapist is a personal decision. We offer an initial discovery call to discuss your specific needs and goals. This is a great opportunity to ask questions about our approach and see if our “New Leaf” philosophy aligns with what you’re looking for before committing to a full assessment.
Our journey together starts with a comprehensive Initial Assessment. This usually involves a 90-minute session where we discuss your history, current challenges, and what you hope to achieve. From there, we develop a personalized therapy plan or provide the necessary NDIS documentation to help you move forward.
Yes. If you have “Extras” cover that includes Occupational Therapy, you may be eligible for a rebate depending on your provider and level of cover. We also provide services under Medicare schemes like the Chronic Disease Management Plan.
