About

How therapy is delivered matters as much as the therapy itself.

New Leaf is a solo practice, run by a neurodivergent occupational therapist. It's built deliberately small, so the person you first speak to is the person you work with.

Built by someone who knows the other side.

New Leaf is run by a neurodivergent occupational therapist. That shapes the practice more than any framework does.

Being measured against a checklist that was never built for you, and being asked to change rather than understood, is known here firsthand, not in theory. A lot of therapy still works that way. Comply, smooth out the differences, tick the box.

New Leaf runs on one belief

therapy should be deeply validating, not corrective.

So I come to you. No clinic, no waiting room. I meet you, or your child, in the places you already feel settled: home, school, the workplace, or your community.
And we start with who you are, not who a checklist says you should be.

What working with me looks like.

Strengths first.

I start with what you can do and what you care about, whether I'm working with you directly or with your child. Support needs come into it, but they're never the headline.

We work as a team.

You know yourself, and your child, better than anyone. I work alongside you and your wider support network, whether that's family, educators, employers, or other clinicians, so everyone is pulling in the same direction.

The environment flexes, not the person.

When something's hard, I look at the mismatch between you and what's around you, and we adjust the world to fit, not the other way around.

Your neurotype, your pace.

There's no single template. Support is shaped around how you take in the world and what matters to you, at a pace that feels safe.
